    Pre-Opening Session

    9:30 – 10:00

    Displaying active orders from the previous trading day and allowing new orders for entry, modification, and cancellation.

    Opening Session

    10:00

    Execution of trades for identical orders. The opening price is determined during this session.

    Continuous Trading Session

    10:00 – 14:00

    Trade securities based on bid and ask, and during this session, orders can be entered, modified, or cancelled.


    Pre-Closing
    (Closing Auction Session)

    14:00 – 14:10

    • First 7 minutes: Orders can be entered, modified, or canceled.
    • Remaining 3 minutes: enter orders and modify them with a condition of increase in buy order price or decrease in sell order price, but order cancellation not allowed.

    Pre-Closing Matching Session

    The closing price is determined based on normal trades only, with the condition of:

    • The trading value equal or exceeds OMR 2000 at the end of the closing auction.
    • If the trading value condition is not met, the closing price will be the last trading price in the continuous trading session.
    • If there are no trades in the continuous trading session, the closing price will be the last adjusted closing price of the previous day.


    Trade at Last (TAL) Session

    14:10 – 14:15

    During this session, orders can be entered and executed at the closing price determined during the pre-closing matching session, as well as modified or cancelled.
