To Register As Market Maker / Liquidity Provider
To register as a market maker or liquidity provider on MSX, the company should submit the following documents:
- Filing the Market Maker / Liquidity Provider Application Form.
- A copy of a valid market maker license granted by the Capital Market Authority.
- A copy of the operational manual, work manuals, internal regulations and regulations governing the work of the market making activity or liquidity provider.
- A copy of the company Risk Management Plan.
- A copy of the regulations and controls manual necessary to verify that workers meet the standards of efficiency and suitability.
- Evidence of payment of application Registration fees at MSX.
- A document showing the following:
| The authorization issued by the partners or members of the board of directors of the applicant to whomever acts on their behalf to initiate the registration procedures, unless the applicant is fully authorized under the commercial registry submitted the application. |
- Evidence of compliance with information security requirements.
- * Additional documents in case the company is a branch of a foreign company:
| A copy of the valid license to practice activities in field of securities granted to the non-Omani company in the home country by a supervisory authority similar to the Authority, provided that it is valid. |
| The most recent copy of the commercial registry in the home country, in addition to the ownership structure statement, including the names of the partners, their nationalities, their ownership percentages in the company’s capital, and the chain of ownership structures for the legal partner who owns (5%) or more ending with the real beneficiary. |
